In order to provide insight into what the completed museum will offer and to inspire visitors to donate towards its completion, the "Temples of Time" exhibition was commissioned. This exhibition will take visitors on a journey through India both in time and place to discover the evolution of Hindu Temples. Through this journey, visitors will learn of the philosophical elements of Hinduism, the monumental feats of engineering, and the cultural significance of this civilization.

They will also be able to appreciate its ability to adapt and evolve over thousands of years, despite the many traumatic invasions of the Indian subcontinent. Most importantly, visitors will discover the values of multicultural acceptance. The Hindu civilization has fostered more than the Hindu faith, it has been the origin of Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. Today, all faiths of the world have adherents in India among with the most fabulous churches, mosques, synagogues and temples in which to worship.

Other exhibitions are being planned to promote the museum.
These include:-

Construction of a Sand Mandala:
The ancient Buddhist art form symbolizing the creation, and through its destruction, non-attachment to material things.

Exhibition on Indian music and instruments
Exhibition on Indian fashion colour
Exhibition on Indian jewellery.

With funds raised through these exhibition, donations, corporate contributions and your support, we will work to realize a museum dedicated to the Hindu Civilization that will fascinate all those who visit. The museum will not be a staid, austere display of mute artifacts. We envision a museum that will fully engage its visitors and hold their attention and interest throughout their visit. A few key installations will be essential in attracting visitors to Richmond Hill - among them will be a cosmic theatre and also a 20 seat multimedia auditorium.

The cosmic theatre will be one of only a few that have been installed in North America that we will use to project a fascinating depiction of the origin of the universe. We are considering a variety of technologies - water curtain projection, fog-laser projection, or 3-D air laser all of which are guaranteed to draw and intrigue visitors. Preliminary estimates put this cost at $700,000.

A 20 (fixed) seat multimedia auditorium that will be used for seminars, presentations, documentary, and film presentation will also be included in the museum. Preliminary estimates put this cost at $80,000.

It is our belief that a visit to this Museum will be an unforgettable experience and that all visitors, regardless of cultural heritage, will develop an awareness and an appreciation for the splendor of one of the world's oldest, living civilizations. The CMOHC is North America's first museum dedicated to showcasing the essence of Hinduism. When complete, we hope to welcome an average of 300,000-500,000 visitors, including primary, secondary and university students.
